About You

We are looking for an experienced lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths classes predominantly at Morley College’s Chelsea site. You could sometimes be asked to teach at our North Kensington Centre. The role is mainly teaching on 16-18 study programmes with possible adult daytime and evening classes. You will be a committed and enthusiastic teacher who strives to inspire students to enjoy Maths and to find opportunities to explore numeracy skills in everyday contexts.

About the role

The role would suit someone with experience of improving outcomes for adult learners from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful candidate should have experience of teaching Maths to level 2, with a relevant teaching qualification and DBS. Tutors are strongly encouraged to come up with ideas for enrichment activities that promote numeracy and digital skills and to work across curriculum areas to enhance student experience. The successful candidate will teach at the Chelsea centre but possible at times at the North Kensington site based on timetabling needs but will not usually be required to travel between centres in the same day.

Candidates must be willing to teach in the evening, if required.
