Frequently asked questions
What is a short course?
Short courses are flexible, practical classes designed to help you learn new skills quickly, for personal or professional development.
How long do short courses last?
They range from a few hours to several weeks, depending on the subject.
Who can take a short course?
Anyone aged 19+ can enrol, whether you are a beginner, returning learner, or looking to upskill.
How do I pay for a course?
You can apply on this website. Simply click the enrol now button on the course you want to join and open an account on our booking system. Then enrol and pay online. There is no need to come into centres to book.
Can I take more than one short course a term?
Yes, you are able to book onto more than one short course each term. In fact, many of our short course students do this already.
Are Morley’s short course fees subsidised?
Our short courses are subsidised thanks to funds from the Government that mean for every pound you pay for a course, we draw down around £2 more to help fund the costs of delivery. This helps us keep prices as low as possible, and our offer as inclusive as possible for all Londoners.
We also offer concessions to students on lower incomes, including those aged over 65 years of age.
