The Free Courses for Jobs offer is designed to help adults gain valuable skills, improve job prospects, and support the wider economy.
If you’re aged 19 or over, you could be eligible to study a Level 3 course for free – depending on your personal circumstances.

Level 3 courses are equivalent to:
- A levels
- Advanced technical certificates or diplomas
They’re designed to help you:
- gain skills that employers value
- improve your job prospects
- earn a good wage
A Level 3 qualification is equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or A levels.
You may be entitled to full funding (a free course) if you meet any of the following criteria:
- You are unemployed and receive:
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Universal Credit
OR
- You are employed but earning below the London Living Wage:
- Currently £28,860 (gross annual salary)
Evidence will be required.
Free funding is not available for all Level 3 courses and the option, if applicable, will be on your offer letter.
