This is a practical creative writing session with a series of set exercises which will help to develop writing skills and allow for creative experimentation with your writing style. Alongside this we will read and analyse a couple of flash fiction stories to identify the skills used by the writers. You will be expected to share excerpts from your work-in-progress with your fellow students for feedback.
Previous experience of creative writing is desirable but not obligatory. All are welcome.
We will be workshopping our class exercises so you will need to show excerpts for peer and tutor feedback.
